Mit diese genial einfachen App verwandeln Sie Ihr iPhone in eine Infrarot-Fernbedienung. Mit dieser Fernbedienung können Sie bis zu vier handelsübliche IR-Netzsteckdosen ansteuern. An diese Steckdosen können Sie beliebige Elektrogeräte, also Lampen, TV, Motoren, Kaffeemaschinen, Weihnachtsbeleuchtung, Außenbeleuchtung, Heizkörper oder Computer anschließen und ganz bequem über Ihr iPhone ein- und ausschalten.

Und so einfach wird das System in Betrieb genommen: Starten Sie die App "IR Remote". Sie erhalten dann eine Infomeldung, die Sie noch einmal darauf hinweist, den IR-Adapter anzuschließen. Bestätigen Sie die Meldung mit der "OK"-Taste. Es erscheinen nun  insgesamt  8 Tasten, 4 zum Einschalten von bis zu 4 IR-Steckdosen und 4 zum Ausschalten. Beim Betätigen einer Taste erhalten Sie beim iPhone eine Rückmeldung über die rote LED und den eingebauten Vibrationsgeber. Sobald Sie nun die entsprechende Taste für den gewählten Kanal loslassen, wird der IR-Adapter mit einem Audiosignalsignal angesteuert. Dieses Tonsignal ist für jede Taste unterschiedlich, denn damit wird die IR-Steckdose erst einmal angelernt und später dann auch geschaltet. Bitte lesen Sie hierzu die Anleitung, die der Steckdose beiliegt. In der Anleitung ist dann von einer TV-Fernbedienung die Rede, für Sie ist dann die Fernbedienung Ihr iPhone.
